Calsil is a natural calcium and silicon product that is suitable for all crops. It is applied through the leaves or through the soil with irrigation systems. The combined presence of calcium and silicon in a high but balanced content gives the formulation a number of highly beneficial properties that contribute to good plant growth and higher crop yields.
Calsil contributes to the formation of healthy plants and firm fruit, as the silicon (Si) content strengthens the cell walls of all parts of the plant. Silicon (Si) is absorbed via the roots or foliage and then transported into the plant tissue and deposited there, strengthening the cellular and intercellular structures.
In addition, due to its silicon content, Calsil improves the resistance of plants to climatic and environmental adversities (drought, cold, heat, salinity, toxicity of chemical elements), increases the photosynthetic capacity of plants, promotes enzyme activity and accelerates the metabolic processes of plants.
