Chelan Fe is a rich source of assimilative iron. Its special manufacturing process and a strong chelating agent (EDTA) protect the iron ions from possible oxidation and inactivation.
Chelan Fe is a special chelated iron fertilizer in (EDTA) form for foliage, suitable for the prevention and treatment of problems caused by iron deficiency in all crops.
Iron deficiency, also known as chlorosis, manifests itself in a yellowing of the leaves due to reduced chlorophyll synthesis and results in reduced vegetation and low plant performance.
Inadequate treatment exacerbates the problem and eventually leads to tissue necrosis. Chlorination occurs strongly in calcareous soils with alkaline pH, in very acidic and light, sandy soils with little organic matter.
