Calcium Phosphite

F-Away Ca

General Description

F-Away+Ca is a liquid phosphorus and calcium fertiliser, for foliar application or drip irrigation. Calcium has a multiple role in plant development, since it is an element necessary in cell division and elongation, in formation and development of new root hairs, and creation of compact cell walls.

Specifically, the presence of phosphite ions in the preparation favours better mobility and assimilation of calcium from plants, therefore improves the qualitative characteristics of fruits (size, colour), increases post-harvest duration of fruit and horticulture conservation, as well as prevention of physiological abnormalities like ‘dry top’ in tomato, pepper, melon fields and ‘bitter pit’ in apples.
