DESCRIPTION

Ion Cu is a concentrated liquid copper fertilizer in the very effective and fast acting “ionized” form. The “activated” ionized form allows transport into the plant through both the xylem and the phloem. This dual transport pathway makes Ion Cu suitable for foliar sprays and application through the irrigation system and is very effective in preventing and correcting copper deficiency symptoms.

Another advantage of Ion Cu is that it contains a combination of copper and sulfur that provides multifunctional support to plants. As copper activates some enzymes in plants involved in the process of photosynthesis, plant respiration and metabolism of carbohydrates and proteins, the sulfur it contains is involved in the formation of amino acids, proteins and oils and is a structural component of the amino acids methionine and cysteine. These amino acids play a crucial role in the formation of new proteins in plants and influence growth and vitality. In addition, methionine controls pollen germination and the increase in pollen tube length.

Ion Cu occupies a central position in the primary and secondary metabolism of plants by promoting regulatory processes in plants related to stress management and increased disease resistance.
